Today's topic is "6 ways you indulge or spoil your children"

1. We let our kids stay up later than normal on the weekends.  Seriously, who doesn't?
2. Friday is usually the night we go out and reward the entrie family.  We let the little kids order their own meal off the kids menu & the big kids order their meal off the "adult" menu.  They like that!  Especially when we let them pick their own drinks!
3. After the kids have done their chores for the week we usually reward them by taking them to Target so they can purchase something under $15.00.
4. We also reward them when they are good on any given day by giving them $2.00 for a snack at the local mini mart.  That puts a smile on their face because they know they can purchase a snack for $1-2 at the mini mart & I can see on their expression that it makes them feel good about going into the store on their own and purchasing something because they did so good.
5. I usually let them have a "free pass" for their daily chores when they behave and do a good job by listening to the sitter when I am at work.
6. We allow them to watch the Disney channel when my hubby & I want some quiet time.

1. I am thankful that God has been by ourside through every up & every down and all the hardships that we've been through this past year.

1.  Target/Crate & Barrel/Ikea:  One of these stores for new kitchen appliances!  I can't pick just one but I love what they all have.

1.  I won't miss the 100+ degree weather!
2.  I won't miss the having to stay indoors most of the time because it's so hot outside!
3.  I won't miss late night BBQ'ing because it's too hot to cook out at a decent hour!
4.  I won't miss my husband's early work schedule!
5.  I will miss my kids being home & spending the afternoon with us.
6.  I will miss all the spare time we had.  Now that the kids are back in school they each have different after school activities so we're always out & about after 4pm & finally slow down around 6-7pm.

Today's topic is "6 things you do, use to do, or would like to do to relax"

1. I would LOVE to just hang out at the beach. We have not done that since my mom took us to San Diego to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday....she is now 13!!!

2. I put some music on just chill. Especially after a long, stressful day at work.

3. Nap. I currently have an hour at home before my kids get home from school so I try to nap or watch my DVR shows.

4. I USED to smoke a cigarette to help me relax. I wasn't much of a smoker but I had an occasional cigarette to help me get loose.

5. I watch a DVD. Some of my favorites are Uraban Cowboy, The Valley Girls, Love & Basketball, Love Jones and The Best Man.

6. I would LOVE to go on a nice family vacation. One where I dont' have to think about money & time.

1.  Grocery shopping online & having them deliver your groceries.  Seriously, I don't get that!

1. I can pick up thins with my toes.

2. I can bend my right ring finger at the first joint. It's the only finger I can do that with.

3. While carrying on a conversation on the phone, I can listen to whatever it is my kids are talking about (they think they are whispering amongst each other while I'm on the phone).

1.  I wish I was more of an arts & crafts, DIY kinda gal.

Today’s topic is “6 things you think would be great about being a rockstar (or just famous in general).”

1.  It would be amazing to go on tour & visit so many places since I hardly ever get to travel.  I would love to trael by bus & air!

2.  I would be able to build a house of my dreams, not only for myself but my parents & brother!  And of course for my Grandma, too!

3.  I would be able to get in a good workout every day!  No more slacking off & I'd have a personal trainer!

4.  I would be able to take my family on tour with me so my hubby wouldn't have to work & my kids would be home schooled & have the opportunity to see the world.

5.  I would build a music hall in my home town, Kayenta.  That way all the young kids on the reservation would have an opportunity to express their musical talents.  I would be able to give back to the community!

6.  I would have a personal cook & maid!  With 4 kids, a hubby & being tour.....when would I have time to cook or clean?
